Due to the fact that The SABC owes RISA (Recording industry of South Africa) R28 mil.( see http://www.timeslive.co.za/local/article595735.ece/SABC-owes-R28m-royalties) they have been interdicted from flighting any music videos, hence the chaotic live performances and terrible attempts at lipsinking the pre-recorded performances.
Tv viewers were far from happy about the product Live was delivering, the tweets included:"Am I watching Live or JamAlley **confused**" and ."url are losin da market, check da tweets bout live 2nght!"
In their defence Live producer, Marvin Cohen ,said "Viewers never know. All viewers want is good tv" he added that getting Young Money's "TYGA" in to studio was a mission as they " had to go to the hotel and physically remove dudes from the hotel. Dude was sick didn't have a voice so he wasn't feeling performing and he literraly arrived at studio just in time to go on when he did."
Under the Circumstances Live is doing all they can but they must bare in mind that this is showbiz and the show MUST GO ON, the viewers don't give a damn what the circumstances are, all they want is a good show, and its up to them to make sure that happens.
